Who is FirstCard for?

FirstCard is for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia who want access to member-only partner discounts. It’s free to apply and free to hold.

Is FirstCard really free?

Yes — free forever, and we never ask for your bank or card details. It’s run by Barayamal, an Aboriginal-led not-for-profit, with support from the NAB Foundation.

How does verification work?

Through three respectful pathways: a Confirmation of Aboriginality letter, a reference from a recognised community organisation, or self-declaration. We only collect what’s needed to confirm eligibility — never your bank or card details.

When can I use the offers?

Applications are open now and offers are being added in early access. Once you’re approved you can use offers as soon as they go live — check the offers page for what’s available.

How is my information protected?
